Kirsten has helped hundreds of students and families gain clarity on their best-fit futures. Her dedication to working with teenagers began as a Dartmouth College undergrad and grew through her roles as a middle school and high school teacher, DECA Advisor, and youth mentor. As a Certified Career Coach, she’s committed to uncovering each client’s unique strengths and interests, giving teens the lasting insights and skills they’ll carry into college and well beyond. Kirsten supports students and families through the entire college planning journey with personalized one-on-one guidance. Her services range from leadership coaching and summer planning for students aiming for highly selective institutions to balanced college list building focused on financial, academic, and social fit, as well as strategic essay support. Every package is tailored to each family’s goals and includes end-to-end project management and proactive communication that keeps students on track and reduces family stress. Beyond helping students gain admission to their top-choice colleges, Kirsten’s goal is to help them clarify their future direction and build the critical thinking and communication skills that lead to confidence and success in college and beyond.

Personalized, 1:1 guidance through every stage of the college search and application process with a focus on intentional profile building and college major exploration. Ideal for students aiming for the most selective colleges, scholarships and/or merit aid and/or families looking an extensive career exploration and academic advising support through high school. 35 hours of total advising time. Recommended start time: late freshman/early sophomore year.

Most colleges require applicants to commit to a program or indicate their major preferences, yet most students aren’t ready for this important decision. Gaining clarity on best-fit majors and careers early on helps students focus on the right coursework and activities during high school and approach their futures with direction and purpose. Early direction helps students select the best-fit colleges and programs and also saves families time and money down the road by avoiding the additional tuition costs that often come with major switching.
